During the nationwide restrictions and with the on-going pandemic, Our A.R.R.M.H.S.S, Kumbakonam are ensuring that students are engaged through various activities, teachers are going an extra mile to keep the education going through e-learning.
We keep on spreading awareness about cleanliness and greenery.
This year we Celebrated World Environment Day through Virtual medium with full zeal and vigour.
Multiple themes were given to children to inspire their imagination, such as Water Conservation, Tree Plantation, and Say No to Plastic, Save the Planet Earth, Environmental Pollution, and many more. The students made beautiful paintings, wrote essays and also shared audio recording of orations with their teachers through Whats App groups created by their teachers.
Students enthusiastically participated in activities endorsing conservation of environment to mark World Environment Day, even from their homes. They took part in various activities such as poster making, growing of sprouts, painting on themes of water conservation, writing articles on banning the use of plastic, making paper bags, writing slogan and couplet to make citizens aware of the need to conserve nature.
The theme of ‘Reimagine Recreate Restore’ prompted the students to ponder on the current environmental issues and motivated them to do their best to heal the environment.
The students planted sapling in their nursery . Extraordinary excitement was found among the kids. They planted diverse assortment of sapling in their nursery and sent a photo as it was a virtual occasion. The occasion was directed effectively with earnest cooperation and energy by parents and students.
Our Principal encouraged the students to understand the importance of preserving Environment. The need of introspection was highlighted with the slogan “We have not inherited this earth but have borrowed it from the future generation”. The day was a huge success.
Finally the day was concluded after a Tree Plantation.
