Badminton Competition

Kumbakonam ARR Matriculation Higher Secondary School. A badminton competition has been held in the memory of Dr. Laila Subramaniam since 2019 on behalf of the ARR Education Committee at the Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Indoor Sports Hall in the Dr. K.S.Subramaniam Sports Ground. Accordingly, On 25.02.2024 the competitions held among school students at the Kumbakonam Educational District level, 200 students from various schools were divided into various categories and badminton competitions were held.

The winning students in the competition were awarded with
First prize of Rs.3000 each for 8 students
Second prize of Rs.2000 for 8 students
Third prize of Rs.1000 for 8 students
Fourth prize of Rs.500 for 8 students Cash prize, shield and participation certificates were given to all the participants by the Secretary of A.R.R. Educational Group Mr. A.M.Vaidyanathan and the Director Mrs. Sugamala Vaidyanathan.

The educational advisor of A.R.R. Educational Group, Principal, teachers, parents, students and media friends participated in this event. The event was coordinated and conducted by the Physical Education teachers and the competitions were successfully concluded.
