Our present generation students’ community has many distractions to go astray. Role of social media is inevitably predominant in shaping the destiny of a lot of students. To streamline and bring the students’ behavior in an appreciable way, timely counseling is imperative. So, in order to keep things in right direction, we hold counseling sessions for our students – IX, X, XI and XII std.Students are generally given counseling by our staff and also persons from outside. Career guidance programmes for our X, XI and XII std. Students are conducted periodically from time to time. Never do we allow our pupils miss such an opportunity as such programmes will be of immense use to them in future.

Houses

It is customary for us to divide our pupils in to four different houses namely green, blue, orange and red. Based on the division of the houses, special uniforms matching the colour of every house are given to the pupils. Once in a week, special uniforms are worn by them. Sports events are conducted on the basis of division of houses.

Life Skills

Though life skills are many and varied, some core life skill strategies and techniques such as effective communication skills, critical thinking, problem solving, decision making, self – awareness building skills, empathy and coping with stress and emotions are being imparted to our school students. Life skills equip students to thrive in the classroom and in the world beyond. We organize specials programmes to inspire our children learn the life skills. Resources persons from Chennai and other cities are called every now and then and our students are oriented on the main skills needed for their development. Overcoming stress and emotions is vital for the present day generation students, as some of them are prone to deceive themselves by taking wrong decisions.
